Job Summary
We are looking for a Content & Social Media Specialist to take ownership of 14DAYPILOT’s content production from ideation to publication. This includes developing content plans, conducting research, writing scripts and copy, shooting and editing short-form content, coordinating design and long-form content requirements, publishing content, and evaluating performance.
The role is not simply focused on meeting posting targets, but on creating high-quality, strategic content that strengthens brand awareness, drives engagement, and generates inbound leads. The position will also support website content and SEO initiatives when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end social media content production process, from planning and pre-production to execution and publishing.
- Develop content plans, creative concepts, pre-production briefs, and shot lists.
- Write compelling hooks, scripts, captions, CTAs, carousel copy, YouTube titles and descriptions, as well as copy for content campaigns.
- Manage and execute the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok/Shorts, and YouTube.
- Coordinate content assets and production requirements with video editors, graphic designers, and other relevant team members.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance and turn insights into actionable decisions, including which content to repeat, discontinue, repurpose, or test further.
- Produce copy for websites and landing pages.
- Support SEO content writing, including articles and other search-focused content, when required.
- Conduct keyword research and apply basic on-page SEO principles to improve content visibility and performance.
Requirements & Skills
- Strong storyboarding and scriptwriting skills, with the ability to translate ideas into engaging visual content.
- Strong English copywriting and scriptwriting skills.
- Good understanding of visual storytelling and how to communicate messages effectively through different content formats.
- Understanding of marketing funnels and the ability to apply different funnel stages to content strategy and execution.
- Strong content planning and project management skills, with experience using tools such as Notion and Google Sheets.
- Excellent file and digital asset management skills.
- Familiarity with Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, and YouTube Studio, with an understanding of key metrics such as reach, retention/watch time, engagement, clicks, and lead sources.
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant topics, trends, and content opportunities.
- Knowledge of SEO content writing, keyword research, search intent, title and meta optimization, heading structure, and internal linking.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, particularly with video editors and graphic designers.
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
