Job Summary: As an Industrial Relations Consultant at Orbit Consulting, you will serve as an expert partner in the Orbit Industrial Relations Consulting program. You will help resolve various labor issues for employees and companies in a professional manner, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Job Description:

  1. Providing consultation on labor issues (layoffs, employment contracts, salaries, working hours, benefits, leave, etc.).
  2. Reviewing and drafting employment agreements (fixed-term/permanent) and other labor-related documents.
  3. Assisting in the resolution of industrial relations disputes through non-litigation means.
  4. Providing mediation and negotiation support between employees and the company when needed.
  5. Referring clients to partner attorneys or law firms of Orbit Consulting if court proceedings are necessary.
  6. Developing effective and legally sound case resolution strategies.

Job Requirement:

  1. A degree in Law or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or certification in labor law.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in Industrial Relations, Labor Law, HR Legal, or Industrial Relations.
  3. Experience at a company or law firm handling industrial relations cases (a plus).
  4. In-depth understanding of the Labor Law, Ministerial Regulations, and related regulations in Indonesia.
  5. Experience handling layoff cases, disputes, contract reviews, and mediation.
  6. Strong communication, negotiation, and case analysis skills.
  7. Objective, fair, high integrity, and balanced empathy.
  8. Flexible schedule and able to work independently as a partner.
