Construction Manager (Utilities)
Job Description
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise utilities construction projects supporting industrial estate development from initiation through completion.
• Oversee the construction and installation of water supply, wastewater, electrical, utility networks, and other supporting infrastructure.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, contractors, and construction activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and technical documents related to utility systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, MEP, QA/QC, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper execution and integration of utility systems.
• Monitor construction progress, installation quality, testing, commissioning, and handover of utility systems.
• Identify and resolve technical, coordination, and site-related issues that may affect project quality, cost, or schedule.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, safety regulations, environmental requirements, utility requirements, and company standards.
• Implement quality control and risk management procedures and prepare regular progress reports for management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in utilities, MEP, or construction project management, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in industrial estate, utilities, MEP, or large-scale development projects (min 500 Ha) civil projects.
• Strong understanding of utility systems, construction methods, project scheduling, and contractor management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• High integrity and strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• PMP or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
• Willing to be based in Subang, West Java.
