Velox Tech is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to work in Norway as a part of growing multi-disciplinary R&D team developing innovative products.
The Computer Vision Engineer will work closely with a team of software and mechanical engineers to develop and test a computer vision software for one of our R&D projects. While this role is intended for those who are interested in working on classical machine vision applications, there are opportunities to work at the intersection of computer vision and deep learning as well.
General Requirements:
Ability to perform an unsupervised research to resolve 	required realistic problems
Ability to research papers and implement computation graphs
Passionate about high performance, high availability, 	reliability, and consistency with focus on delivery
Idea generation and execution, mostly unsupervised.
Desire to work in an incredibly fast-paced environment
Good spoken and written English
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Robotics, IT, 	Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or similar relevant to 	the position. Extensive experience can compensate for missing 	education.
Computer Vision Engineer requirements:
Fluency in a programming languages (Python, C, C++)
Knowledge and experience in machine learning or neutral 	network system.
Experience in computer vision frameworks such as TensorFlow, 	YOLO, OpenCV.
Experience in developing algorithms.
Experience in deploying deep learning algorithm on edge 	devices.
Hands-on aptitude, good debugging and system analysis skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with stereo vision systems and sensor fusion.
Experience with Computer Vision on embedded platform.
Experience building multi-threaded and/or real-time systems.
Experience writing production code and contributing to large 	production code bases.
Knowledge of classical robotics theory and coordinate 	transformations.
