Compliance Specialist

Compliance Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Payments industry. Experienced in managing compliance requirements applicable to corporate payments, Bank Indonesia (BI) regulations, risk management compliance, and the implementation of AML/CFT principles (AML-CFT). Domiciled in Tangerang and available for full-time work.

Key Responsibilities (Job Description)

• Regulatory Compliance & Licensing

• Ensure all company operations comply with Bank Indonesia (BI) regulations, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), and applicable laws and regulations.

• Manage licensing renewals, periodic reporting, and official communications with the regulator (BI).

• Assist the company in meeting ongoing BI compliance requirements.

• Internal Risk & Policy Management

• Develop, review, and update SOPs, internal policies, and compliance risk matrices in accordance with payments industry regulations.

• Identify potential legal/regulatory risks in new product development

• TPPU & PPT (AML/CFT) Prevention

• Oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) supervisory functions.

• Monitor suspicious transactions and prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) for reporting to the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).

• Inspection Assistance

• Serve as the main point of contact (PIC) in facilitating external audits, regulatory

• Monitor and ensure the completion of follow-up actions (action plans) on audit findings.

Requirement

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Compliance/Legal & Compliance in the Payments industry.

• Regulatory Understanding: Good understanding of Bank Indonesia regulations and compliance requirements applicable to Payment Service Providers (PJP), as well as the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP).

• Agile & Adaptable: Responsive and quick to adapt to changes in payment system regulations and fast-paced industry dynamics.

• Communication & Interpersonal: Possesses effective and persuasive communication skills to coordinate across divisions and interact professionally with regulators.

• Problem Solving & Analytical: Thinks critically in identifying compliance risks and providing practical solutions without disrupting smooth business operations.

• Proactive & Initiative: Able to work independently, highly driven to complete compliance action plans, and is detail-oriented.
