Deskripsi pekerjaan Communication & Content Intern (Unpaid) Mutiara Harapan Islamic School

Mutiara Harapan Islamic School is a SPK school that implements the Cambridge Curriculum while integrating Islamic values into the learning environment. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Communication & Content Intern to support our school communication, social media, and content creation activities.

What You’ll Do

Assist in creating engaging content for the school's social media platforms.
Support the development of photos, videos, reels, stories, and other digital content.
Assist in covering school activities, events, programs, and student achievements.
Help write captions, announcements, and other communication materials.
Support the Communication/Marketing team in planning and executing content calendars.
Assist with basic photo and video editing.
Monitor social media trends and propose creative content ideas.

Requirements

University student or fresh graduate, preferably from Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.
Interested in social media, digital content, branding, and communication.
Creative, proactive, and willing to learn.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a school environment and attending school events when required.
Able to commit to a minimum 3-month internship period.

This is an unpaid internship position. No salary or internship allowance will be provided. The internship is intended as a learning and professional development opportunity, with practical exposure to communication and content creation in a school environment.

MUTIARA HARAPAN ISLAMIC SCHOOL (MHIS) is a private Islamic school that located in South Tangerang, Indonesia. MHIS is a Cambridge International School since 2012 and has been accredited as SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) School which was previously known as 'International School' since January 2015.

We support growth to become a good Muslim and global citizen we want our students to have strong Islamic characters. We value spreading good manners, praying together, understanding Quran and memorizing dua. Islamic studies also include the character education program, which weaves universal moral values of respect, honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility and acceptance.

Our students get international certification that makes them easier to continue studies overseas and prepares them to work effectively in international environment.
