Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cold Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team at a casual restaurant in Uluwatu, Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality cold dishes such as salads, appetizers, dressings, and platters. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble a variety of cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, cold seafood, dressings, and garnishes, according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
Ensure all food is prepared and stored according to food safety standards and restaurant guidelines.
Assist in maintaining stock levels and inform the chef when supplies need replenishing.
Follow mise en place guidelines to ensure readiness for service.
Support the kitchen team by assisting in other areas when needed.
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Uphold hygiene and safety regulations, including proper handling of knives, equipment, and ingredients.
Assist with daily cleaning tasks and closing procedures in the cold kitchen section.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a cold kitchen or restaurant setting (preferred but not required—training can be provided).
Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and safety standards.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Basic English speaking skills required
Strong attention to detail and passion for creating visually appealing dishes.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
