We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Commis Chef to join our culinary team. In this entry-level role, you will work alongside our experienced chefs, learning essential culinary skills, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring our kitchen maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Accurately measure, wash, chop, and prep ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions.
- Station Support: Assist Chefs de Partie across various kitchen stations (e.g., prep, larder, hot line) during service.
- Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and organization standards throughout the kitchen and work areas.
- Stock & Storage: Assist with receiving, unloading, and correctly storing food deliveries according to food safety guidelines (FIFO system).
- Equipment Care: Safely operate and clean kitchen equipment and tools.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP).
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or a culinary school degree/diploma preferred (though passionate beginners are welcome to apply!).
- Skills: Basic knife skills and familiarity with standard cooking techniques.
- Attitude: Positive, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies/equipment as needed.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
