We Are Building a Professional Kitchen Team
GYU NIM is preparing for our upcoming service phase and is looking for :
Cook / Kitchen Professionals who understand the standards required in a professional kitchen.
We are looking for people who are reliable, disciplined, clean, organized, and able to work consistently as part of a team.
This is a structured kitchen environment. We believe good food comes from good systems, good habits, and consistent execution.
If you are looking for a kitchen where procedures are optional or standards change depending on the situation,
this position may not be the right fit.

Cook - Kitchen Professional
How We Work
Our kitchen operates with clear systems and expectations, including:
* Proper labeling, dating, and storage of ingredients
* Organized station setup and maintenance
* Opening and closing procedures
* Food safety and hygiene standards
* Clear task responsibilities
* Consistent recipes and preparation methods
* Direct supervision during service
* Regular feedback and correction when standards are not met
These systems are not intended to make the kitchen complicated.
They exist to make sure the team can work cleanly, efficiently, safely, and consistently.
What We Look For
Applicants should have:
* Previous kitchen experience
* Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
* Ability to maintain a clean and organized station
* Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and instructions
* Good attendance and reliability
* Ability to work under supervision
* Willingness to receive feedback and improve
* Ability to work as part of a disciplined team
Technical cooking ability is important.
However, attitude, reliability, discipline, and consistency are equally important.
We can teach systems and improve technical skills.
It is much harder to build reliability and professional discipline if the attitude is not there.

* Prefer working without clear procedures
* Do not like being supervised
* Are uncomfortable receiving direct feedback
* Frequently arrive late or miss shifts
* Prefer doing things your own way rather than following established standards
* Find cleaning, labeling, preparation, and station discipline unimportant
* Expect experience or talent to replace teamwork and consistency
We are not looking for perfection.
We are looking for people who are willing to follow the system, accept feedback, and consistently do their part.
