Deskripsi pekerjaan COATING ENGINEER PT Meindo Elang Indah
Qualifications and Ability:
1. Min. Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry
2. Holding SSPC, BGAS, NACE or AMPP level 2 certificate
3. Having knowledge and experience in Offshore Painting and Coating for Structure, Piping and Pipeline.
4. Understand application tools, equipment for painting and coating
5. Conversion with coating inspection tools such as: DFT gauge, salt test kit, adhesion test kit, etc
6. Understanding all laboratory test methods for painting and coating materials
7. Knowledge in applicable codes such as SSPC, ISO, NACE, DNV, etc.
8. Ability to follow up technical matters and follow up with relevant parties for close out.
9. Knowledge in cathodic protection will be a plus
Responsibilities :
1. Liaise with coating team for preparation of application equipment, manpower, tools, inspection tools and consumables that required in projects
2. Prepare procedure and ITP.
3. Perform PQT and necessary lab tests
4. Liaise with client for technical related issue and make Technical Query if needed.
5. Ensure all necessary inspection tools are available at work place with valid calibration certificate.
6. Review for Coating/Painting Vendor’s documents.
7. Coordinate with painting supervisor, inspector to ensure inspection will be conducted as per ITP and the works are performed in accordance with approved QC procedures.
