We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and cloud migrations. This hybrid role is open to both fresh graduates with strong logical thinking skills and experienced professionals (senior roles available for candidates with 4+ years of experience). Join us to work on cloud migrations, leverage container technologies like ECS and EKS, and gain exposure to AWS native tools and Generative AI innovations!
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
o Deploy, and maintain AWS cloud environments.
o Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
o Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and orchestrate workloads with Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS.
o Optimize cloud architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Cloud Migration:
o Migrate on-premises systems or other cloud providers to AWS.
o Leverage AWS services such as AWS Migration Hub, Server Migration Service, and DMS.
- Performance Tuning and Optimization:
o Monitor and optimize performance of cloud resources and containerized workloads.
o Conduct benchmarking and fine-tune infrastructure for efficient operation.
- Security and Compliance:
o Ensure transparency in operations by documenting all cloud-related activities and decisions.
o Implement security best practices for containerized applications and cloud infrastructure.
o Ensure ethical use of cloud resources and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., PDPA, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Additional responsibilities for candidates applying to Senior position:
o Design cloud infrastructure, preferably applying containerization, AWS Well-Architected Framework, security, elastic cloud architecture and compliance requirements.
o Plan work items required to migrate large scale systems to AWS.
o Independent performer, but also able to lead the junior engineers and manage their deliverables and performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AWS, with hands-on experience in serverless architecture, ECS and EKS for managing containerized workloads. Familiarity with Azure or GCP can be considered as well.
- Familiarity and hands on experience with AWS Generative AI Innovations tools and frameworks will be an advantage.
- English is mandatory
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Logical thinking, creative problem-solving, and good documentation skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
