The opportunity
We're looking for a seasoned financial operator who has built and led finance functions at high-growth startups — someone who can own the numbers, structure smart capital, and be a true strategic partner to the founding team as we scale across ASEAN.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll shape our financial architecture from unit economics to group-level reporting, drive our next fundraise, and build the systems and team that take Yoona to the next stage.
Key responsibilities
- Own all financial planning, reporting, and analysis — P&L, cashflow, budgeting, and unit economics across all channels
- Lead and close the company's next funding round (equity and/or debt), managing investor relations and due diligence
- Build and maintain investor-grade financial models, including DCF, scenario analysis, and multi-entity consolidation
- Partner with the CEO and co-founders on strategic planning, pricing decisions, and capital allocation
- Establish and manage financial operations: accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance across SG and ID entities
- Hire and develop a high-performance finance team as the company scales
- Lead relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, and key financial partners in the region
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of raising $10M+ in capital — you've managed the full fundraise lifecycle from deck to close
- Minimum 3 years in a senior finance role (CFO, VP Finance, Head of Finance) at a startup that has raised Series B or beyond
- Strong command of financial modeling, multi-entity structures, and cross-border operations (SG/ID experience a strong plus)
- MBA from a top-tier institution preferred; CFA Level 1 considered as an equivalent signal
- Familiarity with FMCG, D2C, or consumer brands is a meaningful advantage
- Comfort operating in lean, fast-moving environments — you can go hands-on when needed while building for scale
- Strong communicator and relationship-builder — you can hold a room with investors and motivate a young team equally well
