Job description for Chemical Process Engineer at PT Karya Biru Inovasi (Birufinery)
Job description:
- Monitor, operate, and optimize production processes to ensure consistent output quality and efficiency
- Develop, implement, and improve production SOPs
- Troubleshoot process deviations, machinery malfunctions, and electrical / mechanical issues
- Design or modify process flows and machinery components to meet production needs and targets
- Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance
- Coordinate with production team to ensure output meets quality standards
- Document process parameters, machine condition reports, maintenance schedules, and deviation records
- Ensure all production activities comply with occupational health & safety (K3) standards & SOP
Kualifikasi:
- Minimum S1 in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields
- 2 - 5 years of experience in process engineering, industrial machinery design and maintenance.
- Experience in the fertilizer, chemical, food & beverage, or fermentation-based industry is a plus
- Understand basic chemical, biochemical, mechanical and electrical processes
- Proficient in Excel and AutoCAD, and familiar with basic mechanical and electrical systems of industrial machinery
- Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive in problem solving, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
