CHEF DE PARTIE (CDP) – JOB VACANCY

The Island Sports Club, Bali’s premier destination for padel, fitness, and wellness, is looking for a talented Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our growing culinary team.

The Island Sports Club operates across multiple stunning locations in Bali, including Cemagi, Berawa, Uluwatu, and Gili T. Our mission is to create a community-driven space where sports enthusiasts come together for competition, wellness, and fun. From world-class padel tournaments to holistic wellness experiences, we aim to be more than just a sports club—we are a lifestyle destination.
We are currently preparing for the opening of our newest restaurant concept, Island Kitchen Uluwatu, scheduled to open in August 2026. We are looking for passionate culinary professionals to become part of our Pre-Opening Team and help us build an exciting dining experience from the ground up.
Placement & Training
This position will be based at Island Kitchen Uluwatu.
As part of the pre-opening preparation, selected candidates must be willing to undergo training at The Island Sports Canggu branch before the official opening and operations in Uluwatu.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen position in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or hospitality venues.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, plating, and kitchen operations.
- Communication: Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Teamwork: Able to work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handling pressure during busy hours and events.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Passion for Culinary Arts: Passionate about cooking, hospitality, and creating high-quality dining experiences.
- Must be based in Bali.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will be responsible for managing your assigned kitchen section and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to company recipes and standards.
- Manage and maintain your assigned kitchen section efficiently.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes served.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Support kitchen operations during events, tournaments, and busy service periods.
- Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff when needed.
