Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook food according to the café’s menu and standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portioning.
- Manage daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety standards.
- Monitor food stock, ingredients, and kitchen supplies.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in menu preparation, recipe development, and cost control.
- Minimize food waste and maintain proper storage of ingredients.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served according to company standards.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef / Cook, preferably in a café, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Able to maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays according to the schedule.
