Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, Grill, Pasta, etc.).
Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Head Chef.
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO).
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
Train and guide Commis Chefs and Cook Helpers.
Minimize food waste and control food costs.
Assist in menu development and testing of new dishes.
Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service teams during operations.
Support kitchen opening and closing procedures.
