Cashier

ZIN Canggu Resort & Villas is a boutique resort in the heart of Canggu, Bali, located on Jl. Nelayan, around 100 metres from the beach. It combines accommodation, dining, co-working, fitness, wellness, and event spaces in one property.

Job Summary :

The Cashier is responsible for handling guest and customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and professional service. The position manages cash, credit card, digital payment and other forms of payment, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process cash, credit card, debit card and digital payment transactions accurately.
• Receive and record payments for food, beverages, services and other hotel transactions.
• Ensure all transactions are properly entered into the POS system.
• Follow established procedures for handling cash and payment discrepancies.
• Verify prices, discounts, promotions and applicable charges before completing transactions.
• Process voids, refunds, discounts and corrections according to authorized procedures.
• Reconcile cash and other payment methods against POS reports.
• Immediately report any shortages, overages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Respond to basic guest questions regarding bills, payments, prices and available services.
• Handle payment-related concerns professionally and escalate complaints when necessary.
• Follow hotel policies and standard operating procedures relating to cash handling and financial controls.
• Follow procedures for suspicious transactions, payment disputes and counterfeit currency.
