Description:
- The Floor Captain is responsible for replacing the Manager in their absence and communicating all instructions from management to subordinates.
- The Floor Captain is responsible for ensuring that the entire team performs their duties according to restaurant standards.
- Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- The Floor Captain is also responsible for managing customer reservations, especially during busy periods such as weekends or holiday seasons.
- The Floor Captain serves as the main mentor for Servers and provides basic training on service etiquette, work procedures, and customer interaction.
- The Floor Captain is responsible for ensuring that the work area remains clean, organized, and hygienic. Conduct routine inspections of dining tables and service areas to ensure they meet restaurant standards.
- Record and communicate customer feedback and suggestions to the Restaurant Manager.
Qualification :
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in the same or a similar role (Floor Captain, Shift Leader, or Supervisor) within the Hospitality, F&B, or Retail industry.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a high sense of responsibility, accountability, and the ability to motivate and manage an operational floor team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and assertive communication skills (both for managing the team and handling customer interactions).
- Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking with excellent problem-solving abilities to handle day-to-day operational issues efficiently.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Grooming & Attitude: Well-groomed, tidy appearance, with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
