Job Description
As a Cambridge Physics Teacher, your primary goal is to foster a deep understanding of physical sciences through the Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE/A-Level). Your responsibilities will include:
- Curriculum Delivery: Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that adhere to Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards.
- Laboratory Management: Conducting safe and innovative practical experiments to bridge the gap between theory and reality.
- Student Assessment: Preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations through rigorous tracking, feedback, and mock assessments.
- Differentiated Learning: Adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring every learner is challenged and supported.
- Professional Collaboration: Participating in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development workshops to enhance the GPS learning ecosystem.
Job Qualifications
We are looking for an educator who combines technical expertise with a student-centered approach:
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field from a reputable university. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience teaching the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE/A-Level).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory, as all instruction and coordination are conducted in English.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using EdTech tools and lab equipment.
- Mindset: Strong classroom management skills, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for scientific inquiry.
