Qualifications – Cambridge Mathematics Teacher
- Male or female, maximum 33 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Excellent English proficiency (minimum CEFR B2+ or IELTS band 5), capable of teaching in English.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience is preferred, especially in international or Cambridge-based settings.
- Strong understanding of teaching methodologies such as TPR, PPP, ESA, and CLIL, especially in delivering mathematics content.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both academic and interpersonal contexts.
- Highly organized, passionate about teaching, and committed to student success.
- Creative, energetic, and capable of designing engaging math lessons.
- Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum and assessments (e.g., Checkpoint, IGCSE, A-Level) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with students and parents.
- Willing to commit to a minimum 2-year employment contract.
Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cambridge Mathematics Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. Key Responsibilities – Cambridge Mathematics Teacher
- Enhance professional expertise by attending Cambridge teacher trainings, seminars, and continuous development programs.
- Create and distribute structured educational materials (lesson plans, PowerPoint slides, notes, and assignments) aligned with the Cambridge Mathematics curriculum (IGCSE/A-Level).
- Manage classroom effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and academically productive learning environment.
- Deliver mathematics lessons clearly and comprehensively using visual, audio, and digital tools that support conceptual understanding.
- Provide individualized instruction and foster active, student-centered learning approaches to accommodate varied learning styles.
- Plan and implement both classroom-based and extracurricular learning activities to enrich students’ mathematical experience.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, academic coordinators, and parents; actively participate in curriculum meetings and academic discussions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom that promotes focus and curiosity.
- Prepare and share regular progress reports in accordance with Cambridge assessment standards.
- Attend parent-teacher conferences to provide updates, gather feedback, and establish student support strategies.
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Assign, collect, and grade homework, classwork, and formal assessments following Cambridge evaluation criteria.
