The Manor Cafe is looking for a Café Supervisor to oversee daily café operations and ensure a consistent standard of service, product quality, team performance, and guest experience.
Responsibilities
• Supervise daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate and monitor FOH, bar, and kitchen operations during shifts.
• Ensure service standards, product quality, cleanliness, and café presentation are consistently maintained.
• Manage daily staff allocation, attendance, briefing, and shift coordination.
• Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-job guidance and coaching.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Monitor stock availability, product usage, wastage, and operational discrepancies.
• Ensure POS/Pawoon transactions and daily sales procedures are properly executed.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Inventory, Finance, and Management regarding operational needs.
• Ensure SOPs and company policies are followed consistently.
• Prepare daily operational reports and communicate issues or improvements to the Café Manager.
• Support sales initiatives, promotions, events, and other café programs.
Requirements :
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Café Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor, or similar position.
• Experience in café, restaurant, hospitality, or F&B operations.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational pressure.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive.
• Understand basic inventory, stock control, POS, and daily sales reporting.
• Comfortable working on weekends, public holidays, and shifting schedules.
• Able to lead by example and maintain a professional service standard.
Preferred
• Experience in handling events, private functions, or high-volume operations.
• Familiar with premium café, restaurant, or hospitality standards.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
