Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Butcher (Beef/Pork) to handle meat cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning according to company standards. This role is responsible for maintaining product quality, minimizing meat waste, and ensuring proper food safety and hygiene throughout the meat processing process.
Key Responsibilies:
- Prepare and portion beef or pork cuts for retail, restaurant, or production use.
- Cut, trim, and debone meat according to company standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen/production team to fulfill daily orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum SMA/SMK, any major; Food Processing, Culinary, Hospitality, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum 3 year of experience in butchery or meat processing.
- Skilled in cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning beef and pork.
- Knowledge of meat cuts, food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP.
- Able to operate meat processing equipment such as band saw, grinder, slicer, and vacuum packing machine.
- Butcher or Meat Processing certification is an advantage.
- Physically fit, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a cold environment and on a shift-based schedule.
