Position Title: Business Teacher (Upper Secondary)

Role Summary:
Spark Bali is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Teacher who is also capable of delivering lesson at the upper secondary level. This role is ideal for educators who can connect academic content with real-world global issues, and who are confident facilitating discussions around sustainability, global interdependence, and responsible citizenship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in Business at upper secondary level.
- Plan and implement lessons aligned with international curriculum standards.
- Encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and discussion-based learning.
- Prepare students for international examinations where applicable.
- Assess and monitor student progress with clear and constructive feedback.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes global awareness and responsible thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary and project-based learning initiatives.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Proven experience teaching Business at upper secondary level (IGCSE and A Level).
- Demonstrated ability to engage students in discussion, analysis, and real-world application.
- Experience with international curriculum frameworks is preferred (Cambridge, Pearson, iB, etc).
- Ability to work with diverse and multicultural student backgrounds.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (if currently based outside Bali).
- Availability to start in the new Academic Year.
Preferred Profile:
- Experience integrating global issues, sustainability, or interdisciplinary learning into lessons.
- Familiarity with project-based or inquiry-based learning approaches.
- Ability to connect subject content with real-world global challenges.
- Proactive, reflective, and student-centered approach to teaching.
