The Business Process Automation Engineer is a pioneering role within the newly established IT Innovation & Development sub-department. This position is responsible for systematically mapping, analyzing, and automating business processes across Daidan Group's operating companies — spanning sea logistics, shipping, and related industries. The role bridges business operations and technology: you will work directly with department teams to understand how work gets done, identify where time is being lost, and implement practical AI and automation solutions that generate measurable impact

The role bridges business operations and technology: you will work directly with department teams to understand how work gets done, identify where time is being lost, and implement practical AI and automation solutions that generate measurable impact.
Technical Skills
• Proficient in business process mapping — BPMN notation or equivalent swimlane/flowchart tools
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation platform: Make (Integromat), n8n, Power Automate, UiPath, or similar
• Familiarity with AI/LLM API integration (OpenAI, Claude API, or equivalent)
• Basic to intermediate coding ability (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for custom automation scripts
• Data literacy: able to work with spreadsheets, identify manual data entry patterns, and quantify time costs
• Experience with ERP systems or enterprise operations software is a strong plus
Experience
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in process improvement, automation, RPA, or ERP implementation
• Backgrounds that translate well: management consulting, ERP/RPA implementation, operations analysis, IT business analysis
• Experience working in or with operations-heavy industries (logistics, shipping, manufacturing, finance) is preferred
• Demonstrated track record of delivering automation with measurable outcomes — not just proposals
