Job Summary
The Business Development Intern will support the Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, managing client databases, and assisting with sales and partnership initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in business strategy, lead generation, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and business opportunities.
- Assist in generating and qualifying sales leads through various channels.
- Maintain and update customer and prospect databases (CRM or internal records).
- Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Coordinate meetings with prospective clients and business partners.
- Assist in preparing reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Follow up with potential clients under the guidance of the Business Development team.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Recruitment, and Operations teams to support business initiatives.
- Participate in client meetings and internal discussions when required.
- Perform other administrative and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Account Management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Good command of written and spoken English is preferred.
