Overall responsible for pre-sales activities to engage and follow-up with clients, on selected and qualified opportunities, towards closing of deals and award of contract, in doing so, support the sales lifecycle activities including requirements gathering and clarifications, preparation of proposed solution write-ups (for proposal inserts) and corresponding presentation materials. Detailed activities include:
· Support Account Managers in client engagements to solicit, gather and clarify requirements, so as to establish a requirements baseline for formulation technical write-up and specifications as inserts to proposal for submission.
· Maintain in-depth product knowledge and domain knowledge of assigned customer industry segment. In doing so, keep abreast of company’s product development roadmap, maintain competency to conduct application walkthrough and product demonstration, as well as doing market research on technological developments in the industry.
· Work closely with the Service Delivery and Product Development team and generate proposed solution write-ups and any relevant materials as inserts to business proposals, including high level conceptual solution descriptions, functional specifications, entity relationship and business workflow diagrams, high level schedule and project plan, critical success factors and dependencies. Also assist to produce the corresponding client presentation materials.
· Participate in clients proposal presentation sessions, in the process of which, support clarification and articulation on the technical segments of the proposed solution, and making necessary and relevant revision based on clients’ feedback, including thought guidance from the Account Manager, and the feasibility assessment from the Service Delivery and Product Development teams.
