Business Development (Food Academic Industry)

Job Descriptions:

1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry partners, and business opportunities, particularly in food related sectors.
2. Identify, approach, and develop prospective clients and partners to generate new business and research collaboration opportunities.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients and industry partners.
4. Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and pitches to clients and partners.
5. Track and report business development activities, client pipelines, and follow-up actions to upper management.
6. Represent the organization at business meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, or partnership development.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
4. Strong analytical, commercial, problem-solving, and project management skills.
5. Proactive, target-oriented, and confident in engaging with clients and decision-makers.
6. Willing to travel.
