We are seeking enthusiastic and techsavvy individuals to join our passionate team as our full time Sales Business Development Manager Indonesia). In this vital role, you'll be a key player in expanding our reach and forging strategic partnerships that empower educators and learners worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to B2B clients (schools, tutoring centres, universities etc) for generating leads primarily in Indonesia.
- Develop relationships with potential clients, understand their needs, and schedule product demonstrations Identify new processes, channels (e.g., online research, networking events, cold calling), and technology tools for high-quality lead acquisition
- Able to deliver impactful pitch and provide expert advice on product features and demo to close deals
- Draft system requirements based on prospect feedback to ensure alignment with their needs
- Ensure that all Lead Generation & Sales Support activities are effectively tracked and integrated
- Conduct market research to analyse and monitor key performance indicators to make data driven decisions
- Able to work closely with the Founder and Product team
Requirements
- Min 4 years of experience in relevant role and industry (Edutech industry experience is a must)
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Preference given to degrees in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; able to write clearly and have user empathy. Mandarin is good to have.
- Someone with knowledge of the education system and education industry.
- Have a strong knowledge of pipeline building and sales outbound skills
- Have strong presentation skills, both during in-person meetings and over conference calls
- Proven ability to solve problems logically and analytically to guide users towards solutions and desired outcomes
- Prior success in sales, partnerships, or customer success, especially in a B2B SaaS or similar technology environment, is a bonus. Fresh talents who are eager to grow and succeed in this role are also welcomed
- Experience in sales of educational technology systems/platforms is an advantage
- Having experience using multiple CRM tools is a bonus
