Job Summary
- The Business Development Associate will help grow Purple Periscope’s presence in Indonesia by promoting our career training programs, building partnerships, generating leads, and supporting student and professional outreach activities.
- This role is suitable for someone who enjoys networking, social media engagement, sales, marketing, and helping others improve their careers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote Purple Periscope training programs and packages
- Generate new leads through online and offline channels
- Explain products and services to prospective customers
- Follow up with enquiries and convert leads into sales
- Achieve monthly sales targets
Partnership Development
- Build relationships with schools, universities, communities, and organizations
- Explore collaboration opportunities with education and career-related partners
- Support recruitment and outreach campaigns
Customer Engagement
- Guide customers on selecting suitable training packages
- Maintain good customer relationships
- Support customer onboarding and communication through WhatsApp and online platforms
Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales and lead records
- Provide weekly activity and performance updates
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand, read and converse in English
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and social media platforms
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Passionate about helping people improve their careers
- Experience in sales, education, recruitment, or business development
- Strong networking abilities
