As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Business Development & Account Manager who thrives on outbound selling, owns the full sales cycle, and turns new prospects into long-term, revenue-generating accounts. This is a target-driven role with clear outbound sales KPIs, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong partner relationships, and supporting revenue growth through collaboration with brands, distributors, agents, and key industry stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Own and hit outbound sales targets, proactively generating pipeline through cold outreach, prospecting, and lead generation to consistently meet monthly/quarterly sales KPIs.
- Drive the full sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing B2B deals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth and revenue.
- Generate qualified B2B leads through networking, partnerships, and business development activities, in addition to direct outbound.
- Build and manage a portfolio of key accounts (brands, distributors, agents, and strategic partners) and grow revenue through retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with agents, distributors, brands, and other business partners.
- Conduct high-volume, structured outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn, in-person) to acquire new clients and partners.
- Manage and forecast the sales pipeline accurately in the CRM, tracking activity, conversion, and revenue against targets.
- Lead commercial negotiations, proposals, and partnership agreements through to signature.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and account expansion.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to convert leads and execute growth initiatives and partnership programs.
- Identify opportunities for joint campaigns, co-marketing activities, and strategic collaborations.
- Support the execution of partnership campaigns, events, and other business growth initiatives.
- Represent Shieldtag at business meetings, exhibitions, and industry events to generate new opportunities.
- Monitor account, partnership, and business development performance, and prepare reports on key outcomes and opportunities for expansion.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years in outbound sales, business development, account management, or as an Account Executive/Account Manager, ideally in an agency and/or B2B environment.
- Proven track record of hitting (or exceeding) sales/revenue targets and KPIs.
- Strong hunter mindset, comfortable with cold outreach, prospecting, and high-volume outbound activity.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Confident in meeting, networking, and building relationships with new people.
- Experience managing client accounts and growing revenue from existing relationships.
- Comfortable with CRM tools and pipeline management.
- Proactive, target-driven, and growth-oriented; thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify and close business opportunities.
- Organized and responsive, able to juggle multiple accounts, deals, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
- Willing to attend client meetings, events, and networking activities when required.
- Experience or interest in manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, packaging, printing, or other B2B sectors is a plus.
