Role Description
- Drive end-to-end product development for children’s play and learning products, from ideation to market launch.
- Identify and analyze both children’s developmental needs and parents’ expectations (value perception & willingness to pay).
- Design products aligned with Montessori principles and child development stages.
- Source and curate products from local and international suppliers (particularly China).
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding specifications, quality, and pricing.
- Define and articulate strong unique selling propositions (USPs) for each product.
- Translate product features into clear educational benefits and compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to craft product storytelling and sales strategies.
- Ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with child-related standards.
- Manage market feedback and continuously improve and develop products.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, or Merchandising (physical products).
- Proven track record in managing products end-to-end, from ideation to market launch.
- Strong analytical skills in assessing market trends and user needs (children & parents).
- Ability to define and formulate compelling product USPs.
- Experience in product sourcing and working with suppliers (local and international).
- Proficiency in English (minimum communication & reading) for coordination with overseas suppliers.
- Strong sense of product quality, and design
- Understanding of child development is a plus.
- Location: East Bandung, Jawa Barat.
