We are seeking a Business Analyst who can effectively bridge business needs and technical implementation. This role focuses on understanding system workflows, translating requirements into structured documentation, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders and development teams throughout the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and understand existing systems, workflows, and business processes.
• Participate in and support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to delivery.
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Communicate directly with stakeholders and business users to elicit clear and actionable requirements.
• Translate requirements into structured documentation such as Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Create and interpret system diagrams including ERD, flowcharts, and process diagrams.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure requirements are properly implemented.
• Assist in identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system improvements.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for all requirements and system changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
• Strong understanding of system concepts and SDLC processes.
• Ability to read and create technical and business diagrams (ERD, flowcharts, BPMN is a plus).
• Experience in creating structured documentation such as FSD or similar blueprints.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience or strong willingness to engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements.
Experience
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience working in system development or software projects.
Nice to Have
• Experience facilitating workshops or requirement gathering sessions.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of databases or SQL.
Soft Skills
• Detail-oriented and structured thinking.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
• Strong documentation discipline.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
