BUSINESS ANALYST MIDDLE

🎯 Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, System Analyst, Data Mapping Analyst, Functional Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, MIS Analyst, Data Governance Analyst, Data Quality Analyst, or other related roles

• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and documentation (BRD, FSD, Functional Specification, User Stories, etc.)

• Experience in data mapping, data profiling, data validation, and gap analysis

• Familiar with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis concepts

• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data reconciliation is preferred

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Detail-oriented and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage

💼 Job Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear and structured data requirements

• Manage end-to-end data mapping between source and target systems (e.g., core systems, data warehouse, and new platforms)

• Define, document, and validate data mapping rules, transformation logic, and data flow

• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered

• Prepare project documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), data mapping sheets, and data dictionaries

• Perform data profiling and gap analysis to ensure data quality and readiness

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), focusing on data validation and reconciliation

• Identify data-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies

• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with governance standards
