Job description for Business Administrator at Novelship
Novelship is seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented Business Administrator based in Singapore. As Novelship’s Business Administrator, you will be responsible for providing all-rounded administrative support across various teams, and our C-level leaders. To succeed in this role, you must be good at multitasking and proactively anticipate the needs of the team.
In this role you will:
- Work directly with the founders to support the business administrative areas including claims processing, office administration, operations support.
- Oversee a full range of administrative support tasks such as scheduling facilities and equipment, managing calendars, travel management, process invoices, and managing budgets
- Serve as a central point of contact for administrative processes for the executive team, key stakeholders and staff at all levels in the organization
- Lead and manage projects with little guidance
- Process payments to suppliers and handle suppliers’ inquiries for any payment related matters
- Organize logistics for teams and events
- Assist with PowerPoint presentations; Google applications when needed.
- Other administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned
Who we are looking for:
- Excellent communicator with presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working on cross-functional teams
- Able to learn online software quickly and proactively.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, extremely fast-paced tech start-up environment
- A quick learner, proactive, and able to work independently in the startup environment
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
- High proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with high attention to detail and level of efficiency
- Proactive self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills and show initiative to learn and adapt to the fast-paced environment; ability to switch gears quickly
- Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with staff at all levels
