About the Role :
A key member of the broadcasting and production team responsible for supporting the technical and operational aspects of creating, managing, and delivering broadcast content. This role bridges the gap between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring that all elements of a broadcast run smoothly and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Live Production Operations :
- Operate streaming and broadcasting production equipment in control rooms, including live switching, mixing, monitoring, recording, LSM (live Slow Motion / Replay) and encoding.
- Set up and configure equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work independently and as part of a team to execute smooth and efficient live broadcasts.
Technical Coordination :
- Operates and monitors broadcast equipment such as cameras, audio mixers, video switchers, and transmission systems.
- Troubleshoots technical issues during live or recorded productions to ensure uninterrupted service.
Production Assistance :
- Assists producers, directors, and editors in pre-production, live production, and post-production tasks.
- Prepares scripts, cue sheets, graphics, and other materials required for broadcasts.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Works closely with technical teams, creative teams, and external vendors to meet production goals.
- Communicates effectively with team members to adapt to last-minute changes or challenges during a broadcast.
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Media Production, Communications, or related fields (preferred).
Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience in broadcast engineering or related roles.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in operating broadcast equipment (cameras, audio mixers, video switchers).
- Familiarity with live production tools, including vMix software for video production.
- Basic proficiency in graphic editing tools like Photoshop.
- Knowledge of media management systems and live transmission workflows.
Soft Skills : Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective teamwork.
Language Proficiency : Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a plus.
Flexibility : Willing to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, during live events.
