About the Opportunity

Our client is an innovative, Singapore-based premium custom tailoring and lifestyle brand that believes clothing should reflect personality, values, and individual stories. Combining timeless artisanal craftsmanship with a modern, spirited quirkiness, they create purposeful, high-quality garments for individuals who value authenticity and elegance.

We are seeking a Brand & Content Strategist to help shape, grow, and communicate the stories behind our client’s brand, experiences, products, and future ventures. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, content strategy, customer understanding, and digital growth. You will help define how our client’s brand is positioned, how they communicate, and how they connect with customers across both online and offline touchpoints.

Working closely with the leadership team, a graphic designer specializing in social media, and external creative partners, you will help translate business objectives into compelling narratives, campaigns, content, and customer experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and execution, someone who can connect business goals with creative opportunities and help bring ideas to life.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Leadership:
    • Formulate, govern, and evolve the brand and content strategy, ensuring a cohesive and sophisticated identity across all digital platforms.
    • Lead the visual and conceptual direction for marketing campaigns, product launches, and lookbooks, translating strategic marketing objectives into artistic directives.
    • Define and evolve the positioning, purpose, and identity of our client’s brand and experiences.
  • Content Operations & Social Media Management:
    • Design, curate, and maintain a comprehensive content roadmap and editorial calendar across key Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels (Shopify, email newsletters, and social media).
    • Oversee end-to-end social media strategy, including the development of creative briefs, content direction, and trend monitoring to drive brand growth.
    • Manage the tactical distribution and publishing of digital content, optimizing layouts, captions, and copy to increase engagement and retention.
  • Performance & Market Intelligence:
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance and e-commerce analytics, using data-driven insights to iterate strategy and maximize conversion rates.
    • Stay ahead of regional fashion trends, consumer behaviors, and digital marketing innovations to keep the brand relevant.
    • Conduct market analysis, consumer segmentation, and competitor audits to uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Advisory:
    • Partner collaboratively with the Social Media & Graphic Designer to guide visual output and ensure alignment with global brand guidelines.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team on how brand, content, and customer experience support business growth.
    • Present strategic recommendations clearly and support leadership in making informed brand and growth decisions.
    • Work cross-functionally with design, marketing, and digital teams to ensure strategic alignment from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • Professional Background: 3–5 years of experience in brand or marketing strategy. Experience in premium fashion or lifestyle sectors is highly preferred.
  • Strategic & Creative Balance: A proven ability to advise our client on holistic business strategies, not just visual identity. You must balance critical analytical thinking with creative visual conceptualization.
  • E-Commerce & Operational Literacy: Practical familiarity with Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) marketing workflows and managing content layouts within platforms like Shopify.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal fluency in English is mandatory to maintain seamless daily communication with the Singapore headquarters.
  • Agility & Work Style: Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, Jakarta-based environment, balancing independent planning with collaborative, in-person alignment sessions.
  • Mandatory Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio is required as definitive proof of your strategic thinking, visual conceptualization skills, and ability to steer a brand's aesthetic narrative.
  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with insight and planning tools (e.g., YouGov, SimilarWeb, Brandwatch).
