Shop & Culture Ambassador
We are ROU (rou-batik.com), a batik fashion and lifestyle brand operated by a Japanese company.
At ROU, we do more than sell products—we share the beauty of Indonesian culture through batik, craftsmanship, and storytelling.

We are looking for someone who can become a Culture Ambassador for our brand—someone who can share not only our products, but also the stories, philosophy, and heritage behind them.
Responsibilities : Sales Staff
- Set up the shop before opening and ensure proper closing at the end of the day
- Welcome and assist customers
- Introduce our products, services, and the cultural background of batik
- Handle cashier duties
- Maintain a clean and comfortable shop environment
Inventory & Social Media Assistant
- Check and manage inventory stock
- Report stock levels and inventory updates to management
- Support our social media activities when the shop is quiet
- Share updates about new products, events, and daily activities
- Engage with customers online

Requirements
- Female
- Basic English communication skills
- (Japanese or Korean language skills are a plus)
- Friendly and confident communicator
- Responsible and reliable
- Curious and eager to learn new things
- Passionate about Indonesian culture, fashion, and lifestyle
Working Hours
- 09:00 – 18:00
- 5 days per week (including weekends)
- Off on national holidays
