About the Role
Online Fellas is seeking an accurate and trustworthy Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant to help clients maintain organised and up-to-date financial records. The ideal candidate understands basic accounting principles and can handle confidential financial information responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and categorise daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment-platform transactions.
- Track expenses, receipts, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and supporting documents.
- Prepare basic financial summaries and reports.
- Follow up on overdue invoices when required.
- Assist accountants or finance teams during reporting periods.
Requirements
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and bookkeeping software.
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar software is preferred.
- Ability to manage confidential financial information.
- Good written English and professional communication skills.
- Previous bookkeeping, finance, or accounting experience is preferred.
- Reliable computer and stable internet connection.
