Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and empowering the next generation? Ladang Farm (@ladangfarm.id) is looking for a dynamic and engaging Biotech and Hydroponic Education Specialist to bring the science of farming to life for students and the community.
We are seeking a talented communicator who can transform complex scientific concepts into exciting, hands-on learning experiences.
Your Role
As our Education Specialist, you will be the face of our educational programs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Workshop Development: Design and create innovative, hands-on workshops focused on biotechnology, hydroponic systems, and sustainable farming.
Facilitation: Lead educational sessions and interactive workshops for school-aged children and the general public.
Bilingual Instruction: Deliver high-quality lessons fluently in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, ensuring an inclusive learning environment for our diverse community, including international students.
Curriculum Growth: Continuously update our educational content to reflect the latest advancements in urban farming and plant science.
Who You Are
Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor of Science (S.Si/S.Pi/etc.) in Biotechnology, Biology, or a closely related field.
Exceptional Communicator: You possess a natural ability to explain complex scientific topics in a simple, fun, and engaging way.
Bilingual Proficiency: You are comfortable and confident speaking and teaching in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Passionate Educator: You have a genuine love for teaching and a desire to inspire others about the future of food.
Experience (A Plus): Prior experience in teaching, workshop facilitation, or working with children is highly valued.
