The Battery Rebate Coordinator is a vital part of our team ensuring an effortless experience for our customers to get their battery rebate approvals and rebate filings. This person will perform a wide variety of administrative and communication duties including but not limited to coordinating with customers and utilities to gather and file all required battery paperwork and rebate documentation.
Primary responsibilities for the Battery Rebate Coordinator include:
- Assure that all required documents are in order prior to submission of rebate applications for both pre-installation and post-installation approval
- Submission of all online documents and electronic files for battery rebate applications
- Utilize conflict management skills and escalate issues as needed
- Communicate effectively with office personnel using a professional approach
- Call customers to gather billing documentation and some bill collecting
- Proactively communicate to customers to provide project status updates
- Problem solve to push jobs forward in a timely manner
- Be able to use knowledge and sincerity to overcome customer frustrations around battery challenges
- Provide daily reports and update to management
- Perform other duties and tasks as needed
Qualifications for the Battery Rebate Coordinator include:
- Solar, roofing or construction experience highly preferred
- A minimum 1-2 experience working in Project Management
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to manage long term relationships with customers, colleagues, and utilities
- High level of organization and professionalism
Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management and follow-up skills required - Ability to work in a fast-moving environment maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and projects with minimal supervision
- Foresight and desire to take initiative to achieve desired results
