Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, tea, and other drinks according to company standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and bar equipment.
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and taste.
- Perform daily calibration and basic equipment maintenance.
- Provide friendly, professional, and engaging service to guests.
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and product knowledge.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in the bar area.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock requirements to the supervisor.
- Support daily outlet operations and collaborate with kitchen and service teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Good understanding of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Familiar with coffee beans, brewing methods, and beverage preparation standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and strong teamwork.
- Able to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Passion for coffee, hospitality, and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialty coffee concepts is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of manual brewing methods.
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
