Barista

Job Description:

1. Greet the guest, present menu, help with guest choice, making suggestions, takes order and serves food & beverage according to standard procedures
2. Process drink orders in proper calling order
3. Provide friendly, attentive and professional customer service to ensure a positive guest experience
4. Assisting with general duties such as stock management, maintain a clean and organized work environment
5. Actively contributing to develop service standard and new menu
6. Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver efficient service
7. Upsell products and promote menu items

Requirements:

1. Experienced in manual brew both coffee, tea and matcha
2. Love to learn something new, especially about matcha and Japanese tea
3. Comfortable working with and tasting alcoholic beverages for menu creation, pairing, and quality control purposes
4. Willing to be assigned and rotated across all company outlets as operationally required, including Jimbaran, Kuta, Canggu, Seminyak, and Ubud areas
5. Details oriented, an advantage if you have wide knowledge about tea and matcha
6. Able to communicate in English
7. A story teller and confident in conducting a product presentation
8. Customer service oriented and friendly
9. A good team player and at the same time highly dependable and highly initiative
