BARISTA & CAFÉ ALL-ROUNDER
Location: Ungasan, Bali, Indonesia
We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Barista & Café All-Rounder to join a specialty coffee, vinyl, pool and community-focused venue in Ungasan. This is more than just a coffee role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, knows how to create a great customer experience, and wants to be part of a relaxed, social environment where great coffee, good music and community come together.
The venue is already operating, so we’re looking for someone who can step into the team and contribute from day one.
THE ROLE
You’ll be part of the day-to-day hospitality team, helping deliver great coffee, food and service while keeping the venue welcoming, clean and full of energy. You’ll need to be comfortable moving between barista work, customer service, food preparation, cleaning, stock and general café operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee and espresso-based drinks.
- Dial in espresso and maintain consistent coffee quality.
- Provide friendly, confident and genuine customer service.
- Build relationships with regular customers and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare simple meals, snacks and café menu items.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen organisation.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation across the café, bar and customer areas.
- Take orders, handle payments and assist with daily operations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Help manage stock, inventory and supplier deliveries.
- Support events, activations and community gatherings.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily service.
- Contribute ideas that improve the customer experience and atmosphere.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café or hospitality environment.
- Strong coffee knowledge and confidence working with espresso.
- Ability to dial in coffee and maintain quality standards.
- Comfortable preparing basic food and café items.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Genuine interest in hospitality and customer service.
- Able to work efficiently during busy periods.
- Reliable, punctual and proactive.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organisation.
- Comfortable working as part of a small team and helping wherever needed.
- Good spoken English preferred.
CONTENT & COMMUNITY
The venue has a strong community and social media presence, so being comfortable with content is a big plus. You may also be involved in:
- Capturing casual behind-the-scenes content.
- Appearing in photos and videos for social media and marketing.
- Capturing daily moments, events, coffee, vinyl, pool and customer experiences.
- Contributing ideas for events, promotions and community activities.
- Helping showcase the personality and atmosphere of the venue online.
You do not need to be a professional content creator. We’re simply looking for someone who is naturally comfortable on camera, enjoys interacting with people and has an eye for capturing good moments.
