Micrology Coffee Roasters is an independent specialty coffee roaster from Perth, Australia, dedicated to showcasing the life, character, and unique flavour profiles of the world’s best coffees. Built on a passion for quality and craftsmanship, Micrology focuses on sourcing exceptional green beans and roasting them with precision to highlight each coffee’s individual identity. Every roast is approached with care, consistency, and respect for the farmers and origins behind every cup.
As Micrology prepares to open its Bali branch in Canggu, we are looking for passionate hospitality professionals who are excited to be part of a growing specialty coffee brand and contribute to building an exceptional café experience from the very beginning.
What You Will Contribute:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while delivering excellent customer experiences in line with Micrology Coffee Roasters standards. Working closely with the Lead Barista, you will execute beverage menus with consistency, precision, and attention to detail.
This role requires strong teamwork, efficiency, and a passion for specialty coffee and hospitality to ensure smooth daily café operations and exceptional service for every customer.
What You Will Do:
- Prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages according to company standards
- Execute beverage menu and recipes directed by the Lead Barista
- Maintain consistency in coffee quality, taste, and presentation
- Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service
- Handle customer inquiries and create positive guest experiences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and café area
- Support opening and closing operational procedures
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist in maintaining coffee equipment cleanliness and functionality
- Handle dine-in and takeaway orders efficiently during busy hours
Who We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Barista in hospitality
- Intermediate English communication skills
- Passionate about specialty coffee and hospitality industry
- Friendly, energetic, and service-oriented personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well-groomed, disciplined, and responsible
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Willing to learn and grow under the Lead Barista’s guidance
