Job Description:
As a Banquet Operation Manager, you will be responsible for managing all banquet operations, from planning to execution. You will ensure that all events run smoothly, meet service standards, and provide the best experience for guests.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage all details of banquet events (weddings, conferences, gala dinners, etc.).
• Coordinate with clients, sales teams, and F&B teams to understand event requirements.
• Create schedules and ensure all aspects of the event are well-organized.
• Supervise preparation before, during, and after the event.
• Manage inventory of equipment and ensure all event needs are available.
• Lead, train, and motivate the banquet team.
• Handle issues that arise during events and provide quick solutions.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve service.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service.
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of events for future improvements.
• Manage the banquet operational budget effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree/D3 in Hospitality/Tourism/Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality or F&B industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Detail-oriented and able to solve problems quickly.
