Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create new bread and savory bakery products from concept to launch.
- Formulate, test, and refine recipes to achieve the desired taste, texture, appearance, and consistency.
- Conduct hands-on product trials and continuously improve recipes based on testing results.
- Standardize recipes, production methods, and product specifications to ensure consistency.
- Research and introduce innovative bakery products that align with market trends and customer preferences.
- Evaluate and select suitable ingredients for product development and commercial production.
- Ensure all developed products are practical, efficient, and scalable for daily operations.
- Support product costing, yield calculations, and ingredient optimization.
- Prepare final recipes, SOPs, and production guidelines for implementation.
- Continuously improve existing products based on quality standards, customer feedback, and business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in bread or bakery product development.
- Strong expertise in bread making, dough handling, fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques.
- Proven ability to independently develop, test, and produce new bread products.
- Experience in developing savory bread products is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of ingredient functionality and bakery production processes.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about product innovation.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple product development projects.
- Willing to conduct practical product testing as part of the recruitment process.
- Flexible to work according to production schedules and business needs.
Working Arrangement
- Initial placement: PIK (Monday–Friday).
- Future placement: Sabang, Jakarta Pusat
- The position will remain 5 working days per week, with work schedules adjusted based on production orders and workload. Shift schedules may vary depending on operational requirements.
- Candidates must be willing to work flexible shifts in accordance with business and production demands.
