We are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer to join our growing technology team in Denpasar.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, writing clean code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Integrate third-party services and databases.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.
- Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Backend Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or Go.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of Git version control.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Willing to work onsite in Denpasar, Bali.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of system performance monitoring and optimization.
