ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full-time Backend Developer to help us build scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while collaborating closely with our dynamic, distributed team. You’ll work on real-world projects in a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning, teamwork, and innovation, including the use of AI-powered tools to accelerate coding and ensure clean, maintainable code.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in backend web development.
3. Strong proficiency in: Laravel (RESTful APIs, Queues, Middleware, Eloquent ORM), PHP (modern syntax and practices), JavaScript (ES6+ basics for integration and debugging), and MongoDB (aggregation, indexing, schema design)
4. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and CRUD operations.
5. Experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).
6. Familiarity with automated testing (e.g., PHPUnit, Postman tests).
7. Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
8. Proficiency with Git, including branching strategies and version control best practices.
9. Understanding of security best practices (e.g., SQL injection prevention, authentication methods).
10. Hands-on experience with task/project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MIRO).
11. Familiarity with AI-based development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and code quality.
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
13. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
14. A growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
