Job description for Associate, Business Development - GMS at Grab Vietnam
- Be the main point of contact with the brands/ marketing partners daily (Get brief, set up the meeting, connect related verticals, recap meeting...)
- Digest & understand brands/partners' MKT brief comprised marketing objectives, communication strategy, and know-how to challenge back on the requests, manage partners expectations…, and consolidate an informative & decent brief to the GMS planning team.
- Collaborate with GMS planning team and other verticals to come up with disruptive & ROI-oriented GMS packages based on the partners marketing objectives/ briefs
- Raise questions & give valid inputs to the GMS package to ensure the solutions achieve the business goals of brands/ MKT partners
- Follow up projects’ execution with related verticals (Grab MKT, Ads, Food, Mart, Transport, Finance, Payment…) to achieve partners’ business KPI
- Nurture and grow brands/ marketing partners' relationships via daily interaction, quarterly industry research update/ report and leverage the opportunity to build trust, love & influence MKT partners
- Protects both partners and Grab interests by thoughtfully managing resources and identifying new opportunities for growth, issues, and updates
- Oversee campaign delivery and revenue plus identifying scale-up opportunities
- Expand your partner's network and seek more opportunities to grow revenue for GMS

- You have a bachelor's degree, preferably in business, management, or marketing
- You have a minimum of 3-year experience in partnership/ account planning positions at tech groups, advertising agencies dealing with brands, working on contract terms, negotiating, and collaborating campaigns
- You have great strategic thinking & human management
- You have experience in digital marketing & online advertising (big plus)
- You have bilingual (English & Vietnamese) written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and G-Suite applications
- You can perform independently and be participative in a team setting
- You can practice a high level of discretion, a strong sense of accountability, self-motivated, good sense of business/ cultural priorities and nuances
- You know how to develop professional relationships to expand your partner's network and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
