💼 Job Summary
The Assistant Teacher Responsible for planning, preparing, and implementing engaging and inclusive learning processes aligned with IB values. Supports classroom teachers by providing individual and group learning assistance and managing the classroom environment to create a positive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Additionally, contributes to managing learning-related needs, including decorating and organizing classrooms based on IB concepts, performing administrative tasks, and preparing materials and decorations for assemblies and other school events. This role also involves actively participating in extracurricular activities to support students’ social development, creativity, and collaboration skills.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Assisting and Designing Learning Processes : Plan and prepare materials for scheduled learning processes, ensuring each student receives the materials, Provide individual or small group support to help students effectively understand the learning material, Manage and maintain a conducive classroom environment to create an enjoyable, safe, and productive learning atmosphere.
- Managing Learning Needs : Decorate, rearrange, and organize the classroom in accordance with IB concepts and values to support creative and inspiring learning.Assisting with various administrative tasks in lessons or as needed, Handle and complete various administrative tasks related to classroom activities and learning requirements, Prepare and organize materials and decorations needed for assemblies and other school events, Actively participate in extracurricular and after-school programs to support students’ social and creative development.
🔎 Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Education, Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience Assistant Teacher with experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their learning and development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Patient, caring, responsible, and proactive.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace).
- Able to support classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Committed to child safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.
